Memberships and fees

At Morrissey's adhering to current laws and regulations is our top priority. That is why we hold memberships with the DPS, PRS and CMP schemes, details of which can be found below.

Client Money protection
 
Gov.Uk states 'You must join a ‘client money protection scheme’ if you’re a letting or property management agent in the private rented sector in England and you hold clients’ money. These schemes make sure landlords and tenants are compensated if you cannot repay their money, for example if you go into administration. This is different to tenancy deposit scheme' 
 
As a company we hold a membership with 'CMP (Client Money protection)'. Our membership number is CMP007123 and certificate link below.

Property redress scheme
 
Gov.uk States 'From 1 October 2014 it is a legal requirement for lettings agents and property managers in England to join a government approved redress scheme.'
 
Morrisseys Letting agents are members of the 'PRS (Property Redress scheme)'. Our membership number is PRS008835 and certificate link below.
